European SIM data passes · version of 28 September 2026

This translation is provided for your convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Who is selling

European SIM is a service of MEOWAN SASU, a French company with share capital of €1,024, 12 rue du 8 Mai, 62250 Marquise, France, SIREN 108 547 027, RCS Boulogne-sur-Mer, electronic communications operator registered with ARCEP (code MOWN). Contact: hello@meowan.fr.

2. What you are buying

A prepaid mobile data pass, with no subscription or commitment: 20 GB (4G), 50 GB or 100 GB (5G where the partner network offers it), usable for 30 consecutive days from the departure date you choose, in the 32 countries listed on europeansim.fr. The pass is supplied on an eSIM, or on a physical SIM card sent by post within mainland France.

The pass is for mobile data. It is not intended for calls or texts: your usual SIM keeps them. Outside the 32 countries the pass does not work and you must turn off data on the European SIM line.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. They are paid in full, by bank card, when you order, with authentication by your bank. Nothing else is ever charged: when the pass volume is used up, data stops and nothing extra is billed.

4. Start, activation and duration

You choose your departure date within 90 days of ordering (at the earliest five days after ordering for a SIM card sent by post). We activate the line the day before that date and email you the eSIM at that time. If the departure date is today or tomorrow, activation starts as soon as you have paid. Connecting the line to the network can take a few hours.

The pass remains valid for 30 days from the departure date, up to and including the 30th day, whenever you first use it. Any volume not used by the end date is lost. The line is then closed.

5. Cancellation and right of withdrawal

You can cancel your order from your account, without giving a reason, as long as the line has not been activated (for a physical SIM card, as long as it has not been shipped). You then receive a full refund to the card used, within five to ten working days depending on your bank. This covers your fourteen-day right of withdrawal under Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

By ordering, you expressly request that the pass be performed from the departure date you chose. In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised once the line has been activated at your request, as the service is then being performed.

6. Your phone and your eSIM

It is up to you to check that your phone supports eSIM and is not locked to your carrier. The eSIM activation code can only be installed once: do not share it. If you lose or change your phone, write to us and we will look for a solution with you. An installed eSIM that does not work because of the phone does not give rise to a refund once the line is activated.

7. Quality of service

The pass uses partner mobile networks in each country. Speeds depend on coverage, the available technology (4G, 5G), network load and your device. MEOWAN takes the necessary measures for the service to work properly; if a malfunction attributable to MEOWAN deprives you of the service, contact us for a refund pro rata to the days lost.

8. Use

The pass is for personal use on a phone, tablet or laptop. Resale, use in a router shared on a commercial basis, and any use likely to disrupt the network are prohibited. In case of contrary use, MEOWAN may suspend the line after notifying you by email.

9. Personal data

MEOWAN processes your name, email address, any delivery address, your order data and the technical data of the line (volumes used, countries of connection) to perform the pass, bill you, answer your requests and meet its legal obligations as an operator. Payment data is processed by Stripe; MEOWAN never has access to your card number. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability, which you can exercise at hello@meowan.fr, and the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority) or with the authority of your country of residence.

10. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint should be sent to hello@meowan.fr. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may use the consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The mediation scheme for the electronic communications sector is that of the Association Médiation Communications Électroniques (mediation-telecom.org); MEOWAN will give you the full details of the mediator on request.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, the consumer may bring the matter before the courts of their place of residence or those of MEOWAN’s registered office.
